A Master's degree is preferred. * Proven experience in tooling design, preferably within the composites manufacturing industry or a related field. * Strong expertise in tooling design principles, including moulds, jigs, fixtures, and related equipment used in composite manufacturing processes. * Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as CATIA V5, for creating detailed tooling designs * Competent IT skills and experience in CAD to a level where models can be interrogated. * Experience in interpreting customer drawings and associated specifications, ensuring requirements are captured and reflected in tooling designs. * Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers. * Familiarity with quality control and quality assurance processes in tooling design e.g. change management, ensuring compliance with industry standards. ## Description As a Design Engineer, you will be a key part of our tooling design department, producing the design and development of moulds, jigs, fixtures, and other tooling required for our manufacturing processes. Your expertise in tooling design and your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be crucial in ensuring efficient and high-quality production of our composite products. Role Dimensions: * Reports to the Head of Engineering * Involves close cooperation with Production, Engineering, Quality and External Subcontractors * This role is factory-based but may involve occasional travel * This role is predominantly carried out during standard working hours but will sometimes include additional hours and weekends.
