Working within a small but growing team, you will play a key role in improving data quality, supporting the development of data products, and driving the adoption of data governance best practices across the business. This is a highly stakeholder-facing role requiring strong communication skills and the ability to influence and educate stakeholders on the value of robust data governance and quality., * 4-7 years' experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Management, or a related discipline. * Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders across the business. * Experience working closely with Data Owners and Data Stewards to deliver governance outcomes. * Strong understanding of data quality frameworks, data governance principles, metadata management, and data stewardship. * Experience supporting the creation, management, or governance of data products. * Knowledge of data classification, data lineage, metadata management, and PII governance. * Experience working within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments. * Experience with Google Dataplex would be highly advantageous. * Exposure to Databricks and Snowflake is desirable. * Ability to translate technical data concepts into business-friendly language and build stakeholder buy-in for governance initiatives. * Experience within Financial Services or another regulated industry would be beneficial. ## Description FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Data Governance Analyst to work for our client within the Financial Services sector.
