This is a core requirement for the role. * Programming: proficiency in one or more of Python, Java, SQL, TypeScript/JavaScript, Bash, or Go. * Dataminr architecture & use cases: the ability to quickly understand the Dataminr platform architecture, data model, and First Alert defense and public sector use cases, and to reason about how technical decisions affect the operator. * 3+ years of professional software engineering or forward-deployed / solutions engineering experience delivering production systems. * Infrastructure: familiarity with containers (Docker / Podman) and orchestration (Kubernetes / OpenShift), plus solid Linux, networking, and on-premise infrastructure fundamentals. * Demonstrated ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and to thrive in a fast-changing environment with iterative, mission-driven objectives. * NATO Secret clearance: an active NATO Secret security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one. This is a requirement for the role. * Willingness to travel approximately 25-75% and to work on-site in secure customer facilities.
