## About the Role

* New Graduates with relevant Degrees /master's qualifications are welcome to apply.
 * Previous experience in developing software or automation solutions desirable
 * Previous experience using Parametric Manufacturing CAD software (E.g. Inventor, SolidWorks) would be beneficial but is not required
 * Proficient in at least one programming language
 * Knowledge of software development practices such as version control (Git) and automated testing and deployment (CI/CD)
 * Experience with RPA would be beneficial but is not required
 * Strong problem-solving skills and good attention to detail
 * Good interpersonal and teamwork skills, * New Graduates with relevant Degrees/Masters are welcome to apply
 * Proficient in at least one programming language is essential
 * Knowledge of software development practices such as version control (GIT) and automated testing and deployment (CI/CD) is essential
 * Experience in RPA would be beneficial
 * Will you now or in the near future require sponsorship for an employment visa.

Experience:

 * SolidWorks: 1 year (preferred)
 * AutoCAD: 1 year (preferred)

## Description

The Automation Developer (CAD) position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software automation with a focus on CAD applications. This requires end-to-end project ownership, this includes; working with users to understand requirements, analysing user problems and designing solutions to meet them, following best practices to develop and test solutions and supporting developments once in production, * Creation and testing of automation scripts and models for business product configurator.

 * Designing and developing general software automation for the business CAD software(s).
 * End-to-end project ownership - working with users to understand requirements, analysing user problems and designing effective solutions.
 * Stay current with industry trends and technology advancements. Researching and reporting on new technologies and systems.
 * Working closely with our production teams to maintain and support automation in production, with a focus on process improvement to support development.
