Requirements, § 30 NHG * A degree in a relevant field * Pedagogical aptitude * Special qualification for in-depth independent scientific work, as a rule proven by an above-average doctorate * No more than four years should have elapsed between the final examination as part of the doctoral programme or any other achievement demonstrating particular aptitude within the meaning of Section 30 (2), first sentence, No. 3, and the application for the junior professorship. ## Description * Conducting independent research in the area of practical cyber security, e.g. in software security, low-level security, network and system security, and security of AI/ML systems * Teaching in the Bachelor's and Master's programmes in Computer Science, Business Informatics, and Information Systems Engineering * Supervising Bachelor's and Master's theses and supporting junior researchers * Applying for and conducting externally funded research projects * Active participation in academic self-governance at university and faculty level The successful candidate (f/m/d) is expected to be committed to the university's strategic goals and to actively shape its holistic development ().
