## About the Role

This position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, particularly when addressing complex or business-critical matters. The role demands sound judgment, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to evaluate alternatives, assess risks, and make well-informed decisions. The successful candidate will effectively prioritize competing responsibilities, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and consistently deliver high-quality results within established timelines., + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

 + Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or Microsoft platform administration.

 + Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, and Exchange Online.

 + Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture, cloud migration, identity and access management, endpoint management, and enterprise security best practices.

 + Extensive experience with PowerShell scripting, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and cloud-native deployment methodologies.

 + Experience developing enterprise architecture standards, technical roadmaps, governance frameworks, and engineering best practices.

 + Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives, troubleshoot critical production issues, and serve as the highest-level technical escalation resource.

 + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across technical and business teams.

 + Demonstrated ability to independently prioritize work, exercise sound judgment, manage multiple competing priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.

 + Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert, Cybersecurity Architect Expert)

Preferred qualifications:

 + Master's degree preferred.

 + Industry certifications such as ITIL or CISSP are highly desirable.

 + Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, or government is preferred.

The Principal Engineer serves as the highest-level technical advisor for Microsoft technologies, partnering closely with Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, Application Development, and business stakeholders to drive modernization initiatives and digital transformation.
