## About the Role

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

 + Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and software development concepts

 + Proficiency or coursework experience withJavaScript

 + Basic knowledge ofHTML, CSS, and web-based application concepts

 + Familiarity with relational databases and data modeling concepts

 + Foundational understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) or IT operations principles

 + Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly

 + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

 + Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

 + Academic, internship, or project experience with enterprise systems or SaaS platforms

 + Exposure to low-code or no-code development platforms

 + Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies

 + Experience consuming or building REST APIs

Certification Requirements

The selected candidate must obtain the following ServiceNow certifications within six (6) months of hire:

 + ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

 + ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

## Description

**Serco North America** is seeking an **Entry-Level ServiceNow Developer** to support the development, configuration, and enhancement of ServiceNow applications across mission-critical systems. This role is well-suited for a recent college graduate with a strong technical foundation and a desire to grow within enterprise platforms and IT Service Management (ITSM).

This position offers structured on-the-job training and mentorship, providing the opportunity to build hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform while supporting the delivery of reliable, high-quality IT services.

In this role, you will:

 + Assist in the development and configuration of applications on the ServiceNow platform usingApp Engine Studio

 + Support implementation and customization of ITSM modules, including Incident, Change, and Request Management

 + Develop and maintain ServiceNow components such as:

 + Forms and fields

 + Business rules

 + Client scripts

 + UI policies

 + Workflows and Flow Designer solutions

 + Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, testing, and documentation

 + Collaborate with senior developers, system administrators, and functional stakeholders

 + Troubleshoot issues and support platform enhancements and continuous improvements

 + Follow ServiceNow development best practices, security standards, and Serco development methodologies

 + Maintain documentation for developed solutions and configurations
