As a Senior Legacy Modernization (Mainframe) leader, you will be part of the IT modernization department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization., + 16+ years of experience in IT, with at least 10+ years leading cloud projects of various sizes and scopes. + Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred. + 5+ years of experience building solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, and non-hyperscaler products like Codeium and pool.ai. + 15+ years in application development and modernization, with a proven track record of large-scale legacy application transformation involving mainframe and iSeries platforms. + Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and enterprise frameworks such as MicroFocus, Raincode, and mLogica. ## Description + Evaluate mainframe application landscapes, identify legacy systems, and analyze technical debt to inform modernization strategies. + Develop comprehensive application modernization strategies, including target architecture, migration approaches, and technology roadmaps. + Design and architect cloud-native solutions for legacy application migration, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. + Lead cross-functional teams through modernization projects, overseeing development, testing, and deployment phases. + Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions, providing strategic guidance and technical leadership.
