## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 7-9 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
 * 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, or Software Engineer with cloud-native responsibilities.
 * Deep expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or similar technologies.
 * Strong programming proficiency (Python, Java, or similar).
 * Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform). Multi-cloud experience is a strong plus.
 * Broad familiarity with cloud fundamentals: compute, serverless, IAM, networking, Security, Containers, DNS, storage, monitoring, and logging.
 * Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible).
 * Strong communication, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting capabilities.

## Description

* Architect and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, and other Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks.
 * Design and build robust, secure, and maintainable solutions using modern programming languages such as Python or Java.
 * Deep understanding and building applications using AKS, Serverless functions, Web technologies, Databases etc.
 * Deep understanding of migrating complex on-prem applications to Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, contributing to BNY's enterprise cloud strategy.
 * Participate in full SDLC processes - from concept and design through testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
 * Collaborate closely with Security, IAM, and Architecture teams to ensure compliance, identity integration, and robust enterprise guardrails.
 * Create clear, user-focused documentation that strengthens operational excellence.
 * Stay ahead of emerging cloud trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve our engineering culture.
