1-3+ years of IT support experience (MSP experience preferred)

Industry certifications such as:

 * CCNA
 * Microsoft certifications

Equivalent hands-on experience or strong home lab experience is also valued.

## Description

This mostly remote role supports small and mid-sized businesses across a wide range of technologies including Microsoft 365, Windows infrastructure, networking, and cloud systems. Onsite visits to client sites as needed.

What You'll Do

 * Troubleshoot and resolve Windows workstation and hardware issues
 * Provide support for Microsoft 365 environments including users, licensing, and MFA
 * Assist with Active Directory administration including user management and permissions
 * Troubleshoot networking issues involving DNS, DHCP, wireless, routers, and VPNs
 * Support and maintain Windows Server environments
 * Configure and maintain backup solutions
 * Assist with network infrastructure deployments such as firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless
 * Document networks, systems, and troubleshooting steps
 * Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term improvements
 * Work on both support tickets and project work
 * Communicate clearly with clients about issues, timelines, and solutions
 * Research unfamiliar problems and see issues through to resolution

Technical Skills (Some combination of the following)

 * Windows 11 troubleshooting
 * PC hardware troubleshooting
 * Microsoft 365 administration
 * Active Directory management
 * Group Policy basics
 * Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs)
 * Firewall/router configuration
 * Wireless networking
 * Backup solutions such as Veeam
 * Windows Server administration
 * Basic virtualization (Hyper-V / ESXi)
 * Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS (a plus)
