Must be a US Citizen, * A strong understanding of Cybersecurity compliance requirements in accordance to industry standards, such as NIST 800-171 and CMMC 2.0 * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V). * Familiarity with scripting languages for automation tasks. * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work under pressure. * Hands-on experience with Meraki/Cisco and FortiGate firewalls, VPN, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) tools * Security assessment of technical architecture and solutions * Ability to pick company tools and protocols * Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, MAC) and network monitoring tools. * Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills * Hands-on experience in security systems, including vulnerability management, identity, and access management, security risk assessments, application testing, etc. * Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols * Strong attention to detail Candidate Acumen: Proficient in network architecture, security protocols, and threat mitigation strategies. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintaining network integrity and performance. ## Description Pixxel is seeking a highly motivated IT/Network Engineer to develop, secure, and operate our network infrastructure and IT systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a dedication to optimizing network performance/security, have an understanding of cybersecurity and reduce overall risks associated with technology infrastructures. This is not a management role, this is a hands-on engineering role responsible for infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and implementation of NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC 2.0 technical controls.
