 * Education: BA/BS degree (additional years considered in lieu of degree)
 * Experience: 5+ years of related Linux experience
 * Technical skills: C, C++, Linux, System/Software Design, GitLab and Java, Compiling code using GCC and Make file systems
 * Security clearance level: Active secret clearance OR previously held secret clearance preferred, must have ability to obtain interim clearance
 * US citizenship required
 * Role requirements: History of developing applications and troubleshooting issues within the code, Writing in C, C++ along with development of scripts, 5 + years of related experience
 * may vary based on technical training, certification(s), or degree

You will play a crucial role in supporting cutting edge solutions to the unique requirements of our clients.

 * Support all phases of the software development lifecycle
 * Collaborate with user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs
 * Assists with creating a variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application
 * Performs software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs
 * Uses programming, analysis, design, debugging, testing, and documentation tools to build and maintain high-quality, enterprise-wide software solutions.
 * Provides analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status
 * Advises on the software or system for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updates
 * May coach and provide guidance to less experienced professionals
 * Assists in research, design, and development on application software
