## About the Role

* Experience supporting IDF/MDF rooms or data center infrastructure.
 * Knowledge of structured cabling (copper/fiber), patch panels, and rack management.
 * Familiarity with Cisco network switches.
 * Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
 * Experience with ServiceNow is preferred.
 * Healthcare IT infrastructure experience preferred.
 * Familiarity with UPS systems (Vertiv preferred).

Ideal Background:
Data Center Technician, Network Infrastructure Technician, IT Infrastructure Specialist, or Structured Cabling Technician with hands-on infrastructure operations experience.

## Description

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Operations Specialist responsible for the daily support, maintenance, and management of IDF/MDF rooms and IT infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with structured cabling, network rooms, rack management, and infrastructure operations, preferably within a healthcare environment.Key Responsibilities:

 * Perform daily operational support and maintenance of IDF/MDF rooms.
 * Manage rack layouts, patching, cabling standards, and cable plant improvements.
 * Support low-voltage cabling, power, cooling, and physical security initiatives.
 * Conduct IT room inspections, remediation activities, and infrastructure cleanup.
 * Maintain rack elevation diagrams, documentation, and inventory records.
 * Coordinate with facilities, engineering, security teams, and vendors for infrastructure issues.
 * Perform network port cleanup, equipment decommissioning, and hardware removal.
 * Ensure IT spaces remain organized, compliant, and operationally ready.
