## About the Role

* 7+ years of hands on backend development experience using Core Java (Java 8 or above)
 * Strong experience with Spring Framework, specifically:

 * Spring Batch and
 * Spring Boot
 * Proven experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
 * Solid understanding of SQL, data modelling, and batch oriented data processing
 * Experience building and supporting RESTful services
 * Strong grasp of object oriented design principles, multithreading, and performance optimization
 * Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models
 * Proactively detect, troubleshoot, and remediate issues affecting production applications.
 * Provide clear, concise, and timely communication to affected parties during the investigation and resolution of any individual or system-wide outage.
 * Exceptional interpersonal skills, including team interaction and communication skills including ability to work in cross functional teams
 * Experience with messaging and streaming platforms:

 * Apache Kafka
 * RabbitMQ
 * Other MQ / event driven systems
 * Experience with file based integration patterns, including:

 * SFTP
 * Secure file sharing services
 * Familiarity with job scheduling tools (e.g., Control M or equivalent)
 * Understanding cloud-native enterprise applications deployed in PCF, AWS, GCP or Azure.
 * Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools - GitHub/Git Actions.
 * Prior experience in Financial Services, Wealth Management, or Asset Management domains Preferred
