## About the Role

Synergy is seeking an experiencedDatabase Engineerprovide technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis. This work is on a new contract, and we are actively staffing for this opportunity!

If you're ready to step into a new and exciting role as part of a highly skilled team, then we want to hear from you and learn more about your experience!, Requires five (5) yearsof experienceas aDatabase Engineeron programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. ABachelor's degreein a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.Five (5)years of additional Database Engineering experience on projects with similar scope, type, and complexity may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Required Capabilities:

 + Database experience usingMongoDB or MariaDB; including deployment and management of the database itself, debugging of optimization issues, and scaling.

Desired Capabilities:

 + Python, Django or Flask, ReST Endpoint Development, Micro-Service Model, Swagger, AWS, C2S or other cloud experience, Docker, Visual Studio Code or similar IDEs, JSON and/or XML serialization, Jira, Confluence, Git version control, Experience working in Agile environment.

CLEARANCE REQUIRED

 + Must be fully cleared with the appropriate Polygraph.

## Description

We are searching for cleared professionals who are passionate about their work and ready to take the next step in their careers! The talented individuals we hire at Synergy are provided with a multitude of contract opportunities from developing tip-of-the-spear capabilities to providing support for ongoing mission-critical operations. With high demand from our National Security customers for our talent and expertise, our employees are shaping the future in support of our customer's most critical needs and are working with some of the best and brightest in the industry., You will be responsible for developing or maintaining database structures to fit into the overall architecture of the system. Create new workflows to take over existing processes as needed as well as provide break/fix requests or updates. Lead development of database structures, database parser software, and database loading software. Support the development and test of various Python based ReST end points, microservices, and data model management capabilities utilizing Django and Flask frameworks to interact with data models such as mariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL and send data upon request, in JSON format, to UI front ends.
