## About the Role

Do you have experience in Employee relationship building?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * HS diploma or GED required

 * 2-year degree in a related field is preferred
 * Equivalent training & experience can be substituted

Experience

 * 2 years of related experience in a medium sized industrial manufacturing company preferred
 * 1 year of machining experience

Knowledge

 * Product Knowledge, Materials Planning, New Product Introduction, Cost Accounting, Material Lifecycle
 * Customs Classification methodology
 * SAP/ERP systems
 * Weight, monetary & units-of-measure conversions
 * Blueprint Reading and understanding of tolerances
 * Planning and Executing machining production processes
 * General understanding of technical specifications

Foundation Skills

 * Effective oral & written communication skills
 * Ability to deal with frequently priorities
 * Ability to develop collaborative relationships with all levels of the organization

 * Taking a systematic approach to solving problems by analyzing all relevant facts/issues before determining the root cause

## Description

Join our team as a Central Data Management professional, supporting critical SAP material data and processes. This role plays a key part in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration across multiple business functions.

Relationships

 * Reports to the Materials Manager
 * No supervisory responsibility
 * Interacts & communicates with Material, Fin acct, cost acct, purchasing, product managers, warehouse & production personnel at BUS
 * CDM personnel at BAU, * Manage new item setups for all BUS material (With a primary focus on Equipment spare parts manufacturing and procurement)
 * Maintain basic data for the Material Master in SAP
 * Maintain all Bills of Materials in SAP
 * Maintain packaging instructions
 * Create new routings
 * Maintain tariff codes
 * Provide Materials Master custom reporting when necessary
 * Expected to work independently as well as in group settings
