## About the Role

* Master's degree in data science, bioinformatics, computer science, or related field
 * 8 years delivering data or AI solutions.
 * Experience with large-scale data systems, cloud-based analytics, and biomedical or scientific datasets.
 * Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and implement enterprise data architectures and ML operations.
 * Experience in regulated environments with knowledge of data security and privacy frameworks.
 * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "public trust"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their public trust prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active public trust or suitability are preferred

What Would Be Nice To Have:

 * Experience supporting large-scale data initiatives or applied research environments
 * Publication or innovation experience
 * Prior or current NIH experience

## Description

* Leads data strategy, analytics, and AI/ML efforts, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with research and operational goals.
 * Defines data architecture and pipeline strategy, integrating diverse datasets and supporting high-throughput data processing.
 * Oversees development of AI/ML models and analytics tools, including rapid prototyping and implementation of responsible AI practices.
 * Transitions prototypes into production-ready solutions, coordinating with platform, infrastructure, and security teams.
 * Establishes data governance, quality assurance, and reproducibility standards, ensuring documentation and compliance.
 * Advises stakeholders on data and AI opportunities and mentors technical teams to build capability and innovation.
