## About the Role

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

 + Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Java.

 + Understanding of software development life cycles, including Agile methodologies.

 + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications We Prefer:

 + Knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and secure software development methodologies.

 + Experience leveraging Generative AI and Machine Learning to improve productivity, collaboration, and performance

 + Familiarity with real-time embedded systems or aerospace/defense applications.

 + Experience with version control tools such as Git.

 + Exposure to Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles.

 + Exposure to cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.

 + Experience with software testing and debugging tools.

 + Active U.S. government security clearance (if required for the role).

What You Will Do:

 + Design, develop, and maintain software for aerospace and defense applications, ensuring robust functionality and reliability.

 + Implement, test, and debug software solutions to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.

 + Collaborate with systems engineering, hardware engineering, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal system performance.

 + Participate in code reviews, testing procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software quality and development processes.

 + Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.

 + Document software designs, test results, and troubleshooting processes for future reference
