## Description

A typical day for a Security Engineer II involves managing and supporting the security posture of Castle Biosciences' IT environment. Responsibilities include serving as an escalation point for SNOC and Help Desk security-related issues. The role begins with monitoring and reviewing security dashboards, alerts, and threat activity, followed by engineering and project-based work. Approximately 60% of the role is focused on security projects, system improvements, and troubleshooting complex security and network-related issues.
