## About the Role

+ Engineering or computer science degree (or similar).
 + Proficiency in .Net development (predominantly C#)
 + Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git) and software delivery automation.
 + Experience in the energy trading domain (ETRM applications like OpenLink Endur is a strong plus).
 + Strong prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
 + Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a problem-solving attitude.
 + Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
 + Fluent in English and Spanish.

## Description

Join Axpo Iberia as a Software Engineer and play a key role in modernizing our invoicing solutions across multiple countries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and contribute to impactful projects that shape the future of energy trading technology.
What you will do:

 + Design, develop, and support bespoke software solutions.
 + Capture requirements effectively and document software processes.
 + Utilize software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers.
 + Create and execute designs for new functionalities within software projects.
 + Solve complex problems using sound problem-solving techniques.
 + Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
 + Prioritize tasks with customers and deliver solutions in line with expectations.
 + Participate in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions.
 + Estimate effort, evaluate technology options, and suggest process improvements.
 + Ideally have 5+ years commercial development experience to act as a technical leader or Lead Software Engineer when required.
