This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining database structures, as well as managing and optimizing data within enterprise-scale environments., * Design, develop, and maintain database structures to support application development initiatives * Create, modify, and optimize complex SQL queries in high-volume, complex data environments * Perform data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and reporting activities * Develop and maintain ETL processes and data staging solutions * Write and manage DDL, DML, and DCL statements to support database operations * Troubleshoot performance issues and implement query tuning and optimization strategies * Support data migration, validation, and pipeline development within AWS environments * Develop automation scripts using Python to support database and data processing tasks * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to design data solutions within technical and business constraints * Utilize version control tools (e.g., Git) to manage code and database changes * Monitor and support system performance using tools such as CloudWatch, Kibana, and Dynatrace * Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve data solutions, B&A has launched several programs to focus on employee engagement, wellness, and assistance.
