## About the Role

* hold a Master's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field
 * have gained hands-on experience in embedded software development and combine strong analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset
 * have experience working with Linux real-time operating systems, ideally including driver development and fieldbus protocols
 * are proficient in C/C++ (C++17 or higher), Python, and model-based development methods and tools such as Enterprise Architect or HCL RTist
 * bring knowledge of software testing, ideally including test automation and agile development methodologies
 * are confident communicating in English, both written and spoken; German language skills are an advantage

## Description

* develop state-of-the-art embedded software solutions on Linux-based platforms for sophisticated control systems
 * design, plan and implement embedded solutions, including device drivers, communication interfaces, advanced control algorithms and state machines
 * apply modern architectural principles to improve testability, maintainability and overall software quality
 * collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and act as a key interface between software and hardware development

 * support the introduction of new technologies throughout the entire development lifecycle, from concept and development to commercial release
