Technical Skills: Deep expertise in SQL, Airflow, Jenkins, Openshift, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and a strong understanding of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Tasks and responsibilities Design and Architect: Create and implement scalable and efficient data warehousing solutions on the Snowflake platform. Data Modeling: Help the use cases to develop robust data models, including dimensional and normalized structures, to support business requirements. ETL/ELT Development: Help on the Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake features and third-party tools (e.g., dbt, Snaplogic, Attacamma). Performance Tuning: Optimize Snowflake queries, tables, and overall performance to ensure efficient data processing. Security and Governance: Establish and enforce best practices for data security, access control, and governance within the Snowflake environment. Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior data engineers and analysts on Snowflake best practices.
