To achieve their trust, the team is building authorization infrastructure and a platform that ensures proper authorization for users and services. We enforce access controls and provide access observability and policy governance. We collaborate with teams across Stripe to adopt our authorization platform to protect their resources, especially Stripe users' data. Ultimately we ensure resources across Stripe are accessed securely and in compliance with policies, hence maintaining Stripe users' trust., * Build and maintain reliable, performant and scalable authorization infrastructure (e.g. libraries, frameworks, services). * Build comprehensive understanding of authorization needs of our users (e.g. product teams and infrastructure teams). * Build comprehensive, easy-to-use, and policy driven authorization solutions. * Collaborate with our users to adopt our authorization solutions to protect their resources by providing a great user experience. * Build access visibility and continuous policy governance to empower resource owners, legal and compliance to put risk of inappropriate access under control., Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico, Bengaluru, India, and Dublin, Ireland work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible. ## Related Videos - [Navigating Growth, Scaling Challenges, and Office Expansions with David Singleton, CTO at Stripe](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100362-navigating-growth-scaling-challenges-and-office-expansions-with-david-singleton-cto-at-stripe) - [Let's Talk Quality! - Lilia Gargouri](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1815-let-s-talk-quality-lilia-gargouri) - [Coffee with Developers: David Heinemeier Hansson](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/875-coffee-with-developers-david-heinemeier-hansson) - [Throwing off the burdens of scale in engineering](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/608-throwing-off-the-burdens-of-scale-in-engineering) - [Build Your Own Subscription-based Course Platform](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/321-build-your-own-subscription-based-course-platform) - [Let’s Talk Quality!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100012-let-s-talk-quality) ## Related Articles - [The Best X (Twitter) Accounts for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/294-the-best-x-twitter-accounts-for-developers) - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [Best Countries for Software Engineers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/267-best-countries-for-software-engineers) - [Fullstack developer salary in Germany [2023]](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/197-fullstack-developer-salary-in-germany-2023) - [What’s the Difference between a Junior, Mid, and Senior Developer?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/238-what-s-the-difference-between-a-junior-mid-and-senior-developer) - [Highest Paying Tech Companies in Europe](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/162-highest-paying-tech-companies-in-europe)
