## Description

* Sub-contract component processes such as heat treat, black oxide, chrome, grinding, machining, etc.
 * Obtain and evaluate vendor quotations
 * Evaluate vendor performance

 * Confirm orders with vendors
 * Key orders and process all paperwork pertinent to shipping the orders
 * Write up requests for special purchased items or prints for non-stocked manufactured items
 * Monitor back orders and track late parts
 * Maintain vendor files on any and all correspondence
 * Push through job packets/purchase requests for urgently needed parts and follow up
 * Close jobs in an expeditious manner
 * Have a clear understanding of all processes involved with the position
 * Identify, record and communicate any problems relating to product, process and the quality system
 * Conform to all Quality and Safety requirements and procedures
 * Participate in the Continuous Improvement Process
 * Perform other duties as requested or as deemed appropriate
 * Coordinate parts delivery and pickup
