You need strong Python skills and experience writing reliable, well-tested connectors that handle authentication, rate limiting, and error recovery. * Extend and create MCP servers with new tool registrations, resource types, and transport mechanisms. * Develop connectors for collaboration platforms and communication channels, enabling agents to interact with analysts in the tools they already use. * Maintain deployment parity by ensuring all new features, environment variables, and configurations work across commercial cloud, on-prem cloud, and air-gapped environments. You'll work closely with the infrastructure team to keep all tracks aligned. * Write thorough tests for all integration code, covering error cases, network failures, and edge conditions in disconnected environments. You'll follow a contract-driven testing approach with clear coverage expectations. * Support onsite deployments by troubleshooting issues in air-gapped Kubernetes clusters where standard debugging tools aren't available. Resourcefulness and self-sufficiency are essential. * Care deeply about integration performance and reliability: connection pooling, retry efficiency, parsing throughput, and end-to-end latency from data source to agent. In constrained environments, every wasted cycle and unnecessary round-trip compounds. * Ensure all integration code meets security standards for classified environments: no hardcoded secrets, proper credential handling, and audit-ready practices throughout. ## Related Videos - [Understanding Kubernetes in a visual way](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100085-understanding-kubernetes-in-a-visual-way) - [Why make use of an integration platform in today's software developments and infrastructure?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/758-why-make-use-of-an-integration-platform-in-today-s-software-developments-and-infrastructure) - [Instant KAI Sandboxes with vCluster: Multi-Tenant, Multi-Scheduler GPU Sharing](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100333-instant-kai-sandboxes-with-vcluster-multi-tenant-multi-scheduler-gpu-sharing) - [One AI API to Power Them All](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1601-one-ai-api-to-power-them-all) - [Improving Developer Happiness with GitOps](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/54-improving-developer-happiness-with-gitops) - [Microservices: how to get started with Spring Boot and Kubernetes](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/242-microservices-how-to-get-started-with-spring-boot-and-kubernetes) ## Related Articles - [Dev Digest 132 - Binging WADFlix?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/473-dev-digest-132-binging-wadflix) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Dev Digest 134 - Where pixels sing?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/477-dev-digest-134-where-pixels-sing) - [Dev Digest 137 - AI'm not sure about this](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/485-dev-digest-137-ai-m-not-sure-about-this)
