You should be able to work directly with engineering and third-party vendors, produce actionable diagnostic briefs and customer-facing technical risk summaries, and mentor the broader field team without becoming a bottleneck., * 6+ years systems integration or field systems engineering; demonstrably senior IC with complex hardware-software integration depth * Hands-on server setup, Linux/command-line operation, network readiness, software installation, configuration, deployment tooling, and troubleshooting * Deep containerized Kubernetes deployment troubleshooting across application logs, runtime diagnostics, cluster health signals, and services built with technologies such as Java and Python; can separate hardware, software, network, server/client, configuration, and vendor failure modes * Strong on-site technical judgment; makes go/no-go and rollback recommendations under pressure and escalates only when ownership or build quality requires engineering action * Clear and precise written communication: diagnostic briefs, acceptance test documentation, customer-facing risk summaries, and failure reports must be unambiguous and immediately actionable * Valid passport and internationally mobile for the United States (US), Macau, and Philippines in Year 1; Las Vegas-based or willing to relocate Preferred: * Casino floor integration experience with casino management system (CMS) interfaces, gaming management system interfaces, and third-party casino vendors * Prior informal leadership experience; has mentored junior engineers or led a deployment without a formal title * Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB), Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), or Macau gaming regulator (DICJ) protocol familiarity * Experience with formal acceptance testing, cutover readiness, and rollback criteria as organizational gates; understands what it means to hold a quality bar, not just run a checklist * Interest in improving deployment tooling, observability, runbooks, and delivery-team operating standards; we screen for this disposition, not just the individual contributor capability, * Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, networking, engineering, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent senior systems integration, IT infrastructure, military technical, or field engineering experience acceptable * Advanced or role-relevant certifications in Linux, networking, Kubernetes/container platforms, cloud, security, or automation strongly preferred but not required * 6+ years systems integration, field systems engineering, IT infrastructure, or software deployment experience with senior individual contributor ownership * Deep experience diagnosing complex production issues across Linux servers, Kubernetes/containerized applications, networking, configuration management, third-party vendors, and hardware/software boundaries * Experience leading acceptance gates, go/no-go and rollback recommendations, technical peer review, post-go-live stabilization, diagnostic documentation, and mentoring or supporting other integration engineers Physical Requirements: * Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a desk or computer station. * Occasional lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds, such as hardware, equipment, or office supplies, with or without assistance. * Ability to perform tasks requiring fine motor skills, such as typing, using office equipment, or operating a computer. * Ability to travel locally and/or internationally 10-30% of the time for customer service needs, or site visits, which may involve occasional or frequent lifting and walking. * Ability to participate in in-person meetings and presentations, including standing or moving about a room. * Must be able to work in an office environment and/or customer site location with varying noise levels and demands. ## Description The Senior Field Systems Integration Engineer owns the on-site systems layer for complex customer installations and go-lives: server setup, network readiness, software installation and configuration, casino system integration, Kubernetes troubleshooting, application and runtime diagnostics, cutover and rollback readiness, post-go-live stabilization, and technical decisions across hardware, software, network, server, client, configuration, and vendor boundaries.
