You keep digging until the underlying issue is understood and permanently fixed., * You enjoy owning technical decisions. * You like solving difficult infrastructure and networking problems. * You are comfortable writing code every week. * You enjoy understanding how systems work internally. * You enjoy balancing reliability, speed, simplicity, and scalability. * You are excited by the challenge of helping a company scale rapidly. ## Description We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who builds and owns the critical cloud infrastructure behind our AI-powered robotics systems. Someone who understands cloud architecture, networking, distributed systems, Kubernetes, and software engineering. Someone who can make architectural decisions, write production code, debug complex systems. Someone who takes ownership. Within your first year, you will: * Help our platform scale as customer adoption grows. * Improve the reliability and scalability of our robotics cloud & edge infrastructure. * Raise engineering standards around observability, security, and operations. * Eliminate operational bottlenecks through automation and better architecture. * Influence major technical decisions across our tech stack. This full-time position is based in Braunschweig. While we offer hybrid flexibility, we value in-person collaboration and expect team members to be on-site 2-3 days per week. Tasks * Design, build, and evolve our cloud infrastructure on AWS. * Own our Kubernetes platform running on AWS EKS. * Design networking architectures that are secure, scalable, and operationally simple using Tailscale, Kubernetes, Istio. * Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Pulumi and TypeScript. * Develop and improve GitOps workflows using GitHub and ArgoCD. * Build IaC, tooling, and automation in TypeScript and Python. * Improve observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and modern monitoring practices. * Troubleshoot and resolve complex production incidents across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, applications, and robotics systems running on Linux. * Make architecture decisions that influence the future direction of our platform. * Work directly with software engineers, robotics engineers, and leadership to scale the business. ## Related Videos - [Robots are coming into the wild!
