Desirable Skills (Not Essential): * Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Fundamentals or equivalent qualifications. * Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID. * Knowledge of DHCP, DNS and networking fundamentals. * Experience using Microsoft Defender or other security monitoring tools. * Understanding of endpoint management and Microsoft Intune. * Familiarity with patch management and system maintenance processes. * Awareness of cyber security principles, Cyber Essentials, or similar frameworks. ## Description We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled IT Support Technician to join our team. As an IT Support Technician at MMD, you will play a vital role supporting the day-to-day operation, security and development of our IT environment. Working alongside the IT Manager, you will assist with technical support, infrastructure administration, user management, and cyber security activities that help keep our business running effectively and securely. This role offers far more than traditional IT support. You will gain hands-on experience across a variety of technologies including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, endpoint management, cyber security monitoring, vulnerability management and information security best practices. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology, enjoys problem solving, and is eager to develop both their technical and cyber security knowledge within a supportive and collaborative environment.
