This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious IT professional who enjoys a varied role, combining hands-on technical support with team leadership. Working across a number of school sites, you'll play a key role in ensuring staff and students benefit from secure, reliable and innovative technology solutions. No two days are the same. From overseeing infrastructure projects and supporting network performance to mentoring IT support staff and driving service improvements, you'll be at the heart of delivering an outstanding ICT service., Support the IT Manager in the day-to-day delivery of ICT services across multiple education sites. Provide technical leadership and guidance to on-site IT Support Technicians. Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software and networking issues. Maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 services. Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of network infrastructure including switches, wireless networks and firewalls. Lead on device deployments, upgrades and lifecycle management. Monitor system performance and implement improvements to maximise reliability and security. Support the planning and delivery of IT projects across multiple locations. Ensure backup procedures, disaster recovery processes and cyber security standards are maintained. Build strong working relationships with school leaders and staff, providing excellent customer service and technical advice.
