## Description

The Information Services Program is seeking a data-focused technology professional to join the Database Administration team as a Systems Programmer I. This position supports the Department's need for strong data governance, data ownership, and repeatable data support services by helping translate business requests into technical requirements, data workflows, automation, documentation, and sustainable operational processes. The selected candidate will work across program areas, business teams, developers, database administrators, production control, and other partners to coordinate data-related requests, support SQL and database activities, assist with automation and scripting efforts, document ownership and accountability, and help manage projects involving data movement, reporting, validation, and process improvement. The successful candidate will communicate with business and technical stakeholders, document processes and requirements, support data governance initiatives, assist with
database and reporting activities, and help improve operational processes through automation and workflow enhancements. This position is ideal for someone with a technical foundation in databases, reporting, scripting, and operational support who can bridge business needs with technical solutions in support of secure, auditable, and well-governed data services.
