## About the Role

Are you a savvy, technical trouble-shooter who likes to help others resolve PC IT-related issues? Do you provide excellent support in person? If the answer is yes, don't wait too long to apply for this contract to hire position!!, * 2+ years' experience with information systems, processes and procedures, and knowledge of current hardware and software troubleshooting techniques?

 * Extensive knowledge of PCs, printers, other peripheral equipment, and Microsoft and Windows 10/11, O365, and other applicable software?
 * The strong ability to present and explain technical information to a non-technical audience, and effectively communicate orally and in writing in the English language with all levels of staff?, * Computer hardware: 2 years (Preferred)
 * Software troubleshooting: 2 years (Preferred)

## Description

* Diagnose and troubleshoot PCs, software, network, or hardware problems?
 * Continuously hone your technical expertise and stay up-to-date on the latest technologies?
 * Provide excellent customer service while resolving customer issues in a timely manner?, * Troubleshooting and diagnosing Tier 1-2 hardware, software, and LAN/WAN issues
 * Creating problem tickets in the ticketing system for all IT related issues
 * Maintaining technical expertise on agency hardware/software, network configurations, or peripherals using various methods such as reviewing the latest technical information and attending training
 * Monitoring daily network activities to identify and resolve continuing problems or unusual situations

Other Requirements:

 * Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs
 * Must be able to pass a satisfactory standard criminal background check and be fingerprinted upon hire.
 * Must have reliable transportation.

Work Environment

 * The employee agrees to maintain a work environment that is ergonomically sound, clean, safe, and free of obstructions and hazardous situations.
 * The employee must have a quiet, noise-free home office space that is free of distractions.
 * The employee will maintain at their expense a high-speed and reliable internet or wi-fi connection.
 * Must be well-groomed and presentable for a business environment.
