Designs and advances enterprise data protection strategies to safeguard sensitive information across organizational systems and platforms. Leads data loss prevention and cloud access security programs while driving enterprise-wide data security and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

 * Leads the design and implementation of enterprise data loss prevention and cloud access security strategies and technical roadmaps.
 * Oversees complex data protection investigations and coordinates cross-functional remediation efforts with legal and compliance partners.
 * Develops data discovery, classification, and protection programs across cloud and on-premises environments.
 * Integrates data protection telemetry into enterprise detection platforms and conducts proactive threat hunting focused on data exfiltration risks.
 * Establishes data protection policies, standards, and performance metrics and reports program effectiveness to senior leadership.
 * Evaluates encryption, data governance, and security monitoring technologies and leads vendor assessments and tool selection efforts.
 * Mentors data security analysts and facilitates training exercises to strengthen incident preparedness and response capabilities.
