This job involves talking to clients on the telephone, communicating via email and chat, servicing clients onsite and in-person, working in a busy (sometimes high pressure) support environment. You must enjoy working with people and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Skills and Proficiency Required: * Excellent attitude, phone etiquette, written and verbal communication, and people skills * Ability to properly prioritize and see to completion multiple commitments while accurately tracking time * Enthusiasm for IT and technology. Self-motivated, with initiative and a 'can do' attitude * Proven technical, problem solving and troubleshooting ability * Clean driving record * Willing to work outside normal office hours from time-to-time when required * Available to work in our Santa Monica office or client site in the greater LA area generally from 7AM to 4PM or 8AM to 5PM * Attention to detail Required Technical Skills and Experience: * 2 years IT Support experience ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED, MSP experience a plus * Windows 10 / MacOS installations, imaging and drivers management * In-depth knowledge of Windows OS * Office365 suites: Outlook/Word/Excel/Teams installations and configurations * Basic understanding of TCP/IP, routers, switches and WAPs * Working experience with remote desktop and client VPN connections * Basic understanding of domain-based networks, such as file and print shares, mail and application servers. * Basic knowledge of mobile devices and tablets and mobile device management * Savvy with search engine techniques Desirable Technical Skills and Experience: * Business / Enterprise IT experience * Awareness of industry best practices related to security, including MFA, * High school or equivalent (Preferred), * Windows: 2 years (Preferred) * Office 365: 2 years (Preferred) * PC repair: 2 years (Preferred) * printers and MFP setup: 2 years (Preferred) ## Description The IT Field Tech is responsible for any hands-on and on-site -related tasks involving the deployment of desktop and laptop hardware, peripherals and other computing devices.
