But do they need experience in all these areas? That could be tricky." Marija: "No, we don't expect anyone to have experience in all these fields. Curiosity, structured thinking, and a willingness to learn matter most. A background in business, communications, or humanities would be good. Familiarity with tools like PowerPoint, Miro, and Content Management Systems and some basic knowledge on project and product management and workshop methods, would be beneficial though." Linda: "What about language skills? You know… as we work a lot with international teams and our Croatian colleagues in specific?" Marija: "Right! Very good German skills are indispensable as ESG and HR related topics as well as marketing related tasks are in German language. Fluency in English is required too, since business communication with Croatian colleagues happens regularly, even for internal topics. Also, we sometimes need someone to translate content from English to German or the other way around. That may be a task as well." Linda: "Ok, so far so good. But what do they get in return?" Marija: "I would say a lot. First and foremost a great, dynamic and very supportive team, a relaxed and positive working atmosphere, flexible working hours, hands-on learning, and a fair salary. Plus, first-hand experience in business operations, ESG, and risk management in a real business environment." Linda: "Sounds like a great opportunity! Let's post that job ad!" ## Description Linda: "Oh! So, what were you thinking of? A working student maybe?" Marija: "That would be great! These projects cover a wide range of different business and operational topics. From ESG reporting and risk management to internal process improvements and administrative tasks. A fresh perspective would be great! And a student could get a great insight into different fields as well." Linda: "Right! And what exactly would our new team member be working on?" Marija: "Tasks could include preparing slides for weekly meetings, creating visualizations such as UML diagrams etc. in Miro, researching ESG and HR regulations, updating internal documents, maintaining our website, preparing ideation or product workshops and tracking GHG emissions... They may also help with travel management and supporting event organization." ## Related Videos - [Demografie nutzen um jedem Bewerber das passende Angebot zu machen!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/836-demografie-nutzen-um-jedem-bewerber-das-passende-angebot-zu-machen) - [Apple Vision Pro: Proven Development Methods Meet the Latest Technology](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1190-apple-vision-pro-proven-development-methods-meet-the-latest-technology) - [ChatGPT and Java: A Match Made in Heaven or Hell?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/536-chatgpt-and-java-a-match-made-in-heaven-or-hell) - [Solving Architectural Entropy With Runnable Diagrams](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100144-solving-architectural-entropy-with-runnable-diagrams) - [Beyond UML: Making Sense of AI-Generated Code through Visual Architecture](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2102-beyond-uml-making-sense-of-ai-generated-code-through-visual-architecture) - [Beyond Hiring: Building a Sustainable Talent Acquisition Engine at Deutsche Bahn](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1856-beyond-hiring-building-a-sustainable-talent-acquisition-engine-at-deutsche-bahn) ## Related Articles - [System change: restart as developer?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/39-system-change-restart-as-developer) - [German Business Culture and Etiquette](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/328-german-business-culture-and-etiquette) - [Starter Kit For Job Applications For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/7-starter-kit-for-job-applications-for-developers) - [Finding Jobs in Germany](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/375-finding-jobs-in-germany) - [Spanish Business Culture and Etiquette](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/353-spanish-business-culture-and-etiquette) - [The Biggest German Tech Companies](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/424-the-biggest-german-tech-companies)
