This role will cover all aspects of HV system design, including electrical, mechanical, thermal and controls systems, and range from requirements management through design to final validation and testing. The candidate must be adaptable, self-motivated and technically capable., * Strong hands-on approach * Can-do attitude * Ability to learn fast and to quickly pick up new skills and engineering concepts * Able to operate autonomously and as part of a team * Ability to operate and communicate in an international, multi-cultural environment * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, * Sound engineering understanding and capability to apply basic scientific principles to real-world applications * Experience of Lithium-Ion battery development and/or testing * Familiarity with HV system safety concepts, including HVIL, MSDs, HV isolation, fusing * Demonstratable knowledge of programming languages like: C, Matlab/Simulink, Python. Desirable: * Experience in automotive Powertrain / High Voltage system engineering * Experience working with or within prototype workshop environments * Experience of electric circuit & PCB design * Knowledge of BMS systems and their associated parameters (eg SoC, SoH, Current limits, etc) * Exposure to requirements creation, DFMEA, DVP generation Education required: * Bachelor s or Master s degree in a relevant engineering discipline Electrical, Electronic, Automotive or Mechanical (or equivalent professional accreditation). Additional Information: Full UK driving licence, as customer site visits may be required.
