## About the Role

* Working knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, pipework, MCCs (Motor Control Centres), VSDs (Variable Speed Drives).

 * A solid understanding of PLC and SCADA systems.

 * Experience in instrumentation and control systems.

 * A strong background in water and wastewater treatment processes (for utility-sector roles).

 * AutoCAD and other engineering design software experience.

 * Working knowledge of UK electrical and safety regulations.

Required profile

 * CSCS Card.
 * Degree, HNC, or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Control, Automation, or related Engineering discipline.
 * Previous water industry experience.
 * Project management and planning experience.
 * Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
 * Stakeholder management and communication.
 * Health, safety, and quality awareness.
 * Leadership and team coordination.

## Description

The purpose of the role is to design, manage, coordinate, and deliver mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems throughout a project's lifecycle, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, budget, and programme requirements., * To develop and review MEICA designs and technical specifications.

 * Manage the procurement of equipment and subcontractors for the project.

 * Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and control systems integration.

 * Provide support for installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

 * Ensure compliance is maintained in accordance with UK regulations, industry standards, and client requirements.

 * Monitor project schedules, costs, risks, and quality performance.

 * Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

 * Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and handover records.

 * Provide technical support during construction and operational phases.
