## About the Role

Requirements Minimum qualifications: · 4+ years of professional work experience

· Possesses knowledge of appropriate data sources to address the specific requirements of projects for monitoring, characterization, analysis and modeling

· Performs scientific research, scientific writing and editing, including the writing and editing of project products to established government standards for the targeted science and lay audiences, proofreading of draft and final documents

· Works independently

· Attends meetings and workshops to present on project work, participate in discussions.

· Master's degree in Healthcare, Science, Computer Engineering or related scientific, technical, or clinical discipline is required, or an additional 8 years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements Preferred qualifications:

· VA experience preferred

· Experience implementing Electronic Health Records

## Description

Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviewing objectives with clients; evaluating current systems

· Develops database solutions by designing proposed system; defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications.

· Provides database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems.

· Develops Microsoft Office tools and automation techniques for data aggregation

· Develops visualization of data as needed
