5+ years administering enterprise MicroStrategy environments.
5+ years developing Pentaho Data Integration (PDI/Kettle) ETL solutions.
Experience supporting enterprise analytics platforms in production environments.
Experience supporting federal government IT programs preferred.

## Description

MicroStrategy Administration(Must Have)
Administer enterprise MicroStrategy environments including Development, Test, Staging, and Production.
Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain MicroStrategy platform components.
Administer Intelligence Server, Web, Library, Workstation, Developer, Object Manager, Command Manager, and Enterprise Manager.
Configure user authentication, security roles, privileges, LDAP/Active Directory integration, and access controls.
Manage MicroStrategy metadata repositories and project environments.
Perform object migration between environments using Object Manager and deployment packages.
Monitor server health, usage, caches, job queues, and system performance.
Tune Intelligence Server performance and optimize report execution.
Troubleshoot platform issues and coordinate problem resolution with infrastructure and database teams.
Develop operational procedures, administration guides, and disaster recovery documentation.
Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence
Support enterprise data warehouse architecture and dimensional modeling.
Develop metadata objects, attributes, metrics, hierarchies, filters, prompts, and Intelligent Cubes.
Support report developers in dashboard optimization and SQL tuning.
Implement enterprise reporting standards and governance.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting environments.
Assist with performance tuning of SQL queries and database objects.
System Administration & Operations
Monitor application availability and proactively resolve system issues.
Perform backup and recovery activities.
Implement system monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards.
Support release management and production deployments.
Coordinate maintenance windows and platform upgrades.
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
Collaboration
Work closely with Data Architects, BI Developers, Database Administrators, Cloud Engineers, and Project Managers.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Provide technical guidance to junior developers and administrators.
