Experience: * IT support: 2 years (Preferred) Ability to Commute: * Niles, IL 60714 (Required) ## Description The IT Support Specialist will provide technical assistance and support to staff at our home care company, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and software applications. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with system upgrades, and maintaining IT security protocols to support the company's mission of delivering high-quality home care., * Technical Support & Troubleshooting: * Provide first-line IT support to office staff via phone, email, or in-person. * Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues (computers, printers, mobile devices, etc.). * Be able to work with and support Microsoft Azure cloud, especially Microsoft Azure virtual desktops environment. * Assist with setup, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, laptops, printers, and security cameras. * System & Network Maintenance: * Monitor and support IT infrastructure, including servers, routers, and firewalls. * Assist with user account management (Google Workspace, Office 365, EHR/EMR systems). * Standardize systems and processes for scaling operations. * Ensure data backups and disaster recovery processes are functional. * Security & Compliance: * Enforce IT security policies to protect sensitive patient and company data (HIPAA compliance knowledge preferred). * Assist with cybersecurity measures, including antivirus updates and phishing emails prevention. * Oversee/coordinate audits of system security and coordinate with 3 party vendors when necessary.
