## About the Role

* Well-versed in DevSecOps principles, benefits, technologies, and best practices.
 * Experience developing in air-gapped, on-premises environments.
 * Skilled in Bash and Python.
 * Seasoned experience with GitLab and GitLab Runners.
 * Expertise with containerization tools such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.
 * Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, and IaC tools like Terraform or similar tools.
 * Seasoned experience in Linux environments.
 * Experience with JFrog Artifactory or equivalent artifact management tools.
 * Strong knowledge of IP networking and protocols.
 * Active U.S. government-issued security clearance (must be transferable).
 * Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

 * Hands-on experience with embedded product development.
 * Strong Linux administration skills.
 * Experience with Atlassian tool suite.
 * Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
 * Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or Rust and embedded environments.
 * Demonstrated ability to lead, collaborate effectively, meet project milestones, and deliver high-quality results.

* Co-lead the advancement of DevSecOps roadmaps and initiatives.
 * Spearhead cutting-edge DevSecOps tools and technologies.
 * Champion DevSecOps best practices across the organization.
 * Design and implement complex automation pipelines for embedded systems in air-gapped environments.
 * Automate security testing and vulnerability scanning using static and dynamic application security tools (SAST/DAST).
 * Develop complex containerized environments and applications.
 * Design and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure consistent and scalable infrastructure.
 * Build dashboards for observability and performance reporting.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional product development teams to deliver innovative solutions.
