Essential:

 * 2+ years' experience as a Java Developer (5+ f
 * Strong Java (JDK 11+) and Spring Boot development skills
 * Exposure to microservices, modern APIs, and cloud-based delivery
 * Understanding of secure engineering principles and modern DevOps practices
 * Ability to operate in agile, collaborative engineering teams
 * Must be SC Clearable (minimum 5 years continuous UK residency)
 * Experience with AWS or other public cloud platforms
 * Exposure to containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)

## Description

* Designing and developing Java services using JDK 11+ and Spring Boot
 * Building modular, maintainable microservices aligned to enterprise and security standards
 * Working with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, and SonarQube
 * Collaborating with cloud and infrastructure teams to deploy into secure cloud environments
 * Applying software engineering best practices (TDD/BDD, branching strategy, code quality)
 * Contributing to agile ceremonies and working closely with technical leads and testers
