## About the Role

* 7 + years SAP ECC Controlling experience
 * SAP Finance subject matter expertise in end-to-end Product Costing processes including Material Ledger functionality with integration points with other modules such as Project Systems, Payroll, Materials Management and Finance
 * Knowledge of CO functionality, including Internal Order, Cost Center Accounting, Assessment, Distribution, Cost Transfer etc.

Nice to have:

 * Bachelor's degree in related field
 * Relevant SAP certifications
 * Experience with SAP Public Sector Financials and knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting

Eligibility Requirements:

 * US Citizens only (no dual citizenship)
 * Eligibility to obtain a government Public Trust clearance

## Description

The SAP Costing / Material Ledger Manager oversees product costing, inventory valuation, and financial accuracy within SAP, with a focus on the Material Ledger and actual costing processes. This role partners closely with the client to ensure compliant cost flows, lead period-end close activities, and drive process improvements and system enhances.

The work:

 * Lead efforts to gather requirements and design solutions to meet these requirements
 * Analyze and design new business processes to create the documentation that guides the implementation of new processes and technologies
 * Partner with the business to define product requirements and use cases to meet process and functional requirements
 * Facilitate interaction with technical counterparts to ensure technical solutions meet all functional requirements
 * Develop test strategies and manage large complex test efforts
 * Business process design and system analysis
 * Coordinate and manage across architects, developers, technical services (i.e. BASIS, Middleware, Portal) and business analysts to perform business analyst functions and responsibilities
 * Maintenance, enhancement and/or development of SAP modules, including interfacing with other applications
 * Budgeting, staffing, forecasting and work planning
 * Manage a team, including mentoring and training junior team members
