## About the Role

Clearance: Active Fully-Cleared with Poly.

Operating Systems: Proven experience managing, configuring, and maintaining Linux environments.

Cloud & Virtualization: Strong technical background working with AWS, MASH, and Virtual Machines (VMs).

Containerization: Thorough understanding of Docker and Docker Compose container technology, alongside practical experience with Docker Swarm.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Solid experience utilizing Terraform for scripting and automated VM provisioning.

Configuration Management: Strong proficiency with Ansible scripting and development for environment deployments.

CI/CD Tools: Direct experience managing deployments of distributed web applications utilizing GitLab CI/CD (or similar enterprise pipelines).

Version Control: Hands-on experience with Git.

Education & Experience
Level: Mid to Senior level.

Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Systems/DevOps Engineer or Administrator on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.

Substitution: Four (4) years of additional software/systems experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree (totaling 11 years of experience).

Desired Skills

Scripting & Development: Experience with Python scripting and development.

Data Pipelines & Search: Operational knowledge, maintenance, and configuration of NiFi and Elasticsearch.

Application Troubleshooting: Familiarity with Java / Spring Boot to successfully read and troubleshoot error logs.

Load Balancing & Databases: Experience working with HAProxy and managing MongoDB databases.
