Registrations, Licensure Requirements or Certifications: * Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL v4) preferred. * CompTIA A+ certification (preferred) Initial Selection Criteria: * Experience supporting Microsoft Windows based computers in a local or wide area network environment. * Experience working in a trouble ticket resolution environment, such as Remedy. * Experience in Active Directory. * Experience providing desktop support ## Description Performs routine (journey-level) network systems work. Works under moderate supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Employees at this level may rely on direction from others to solve problems that are not standard. Employees may also assist other staff in performing work of greater complexity and may maintain the operating system and security software used on the network, add new users to the network, and establish rights and privileges. Essential Job Functions: * Provides routine (journey level) user support and training in the use of available hardware, software, and utilities. Serves as contact for remote network locations to obtain clarification on problems and resolutions. Educates users on new or less frequently used features of existing products. Keep current on all work-related technology and Operating System environments and required training. Stays updated with the latest advancements in system administration, technologies, and security best practices. * Provides user support and training in the use of available hardware, software, and utilities. Serves as contact for remote network locations to obtain clarification on problems and resolutions. Educates users on new or less frequently used features of existing products. Keeps team and leadership informed of the status of projects and work-related assignments. Ensures timely updates on project and assignment related tasks in the format requested. Takes ownership of assigned tasks, works independently with moderate supervision, and demonstrates initiative in problem-solving. * Promote teamwork and builds relationships that promotes a healthy team environment by providing leadership to complete work goals and assisting coworkers with job tasks to achieve high customer service and productivity levels. * Provides excellent customer service.
