And Two years progressively responsible project management experience which included one or more of the following: • Verifying and validating requirements for new projects to ensure alignment with the business, IT goals, and industry standards; • Performing strategic business research and defining requirements to support standardizing processes and integrating information systems that contributed to continuous process improvement • Evaluating business processes from a business and IT perspective and translating business needs into system requirements, developing project plans, evaluating ROI, and managing the completion of multiple concurrent projects. OR • Associate’s degree in computer information systems, computer science or a computer-related field, or business management. Selection Process ## Description The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring information technology projects and technology-enabled initiatives that support Front Range Community College's strategic objectives. This position works closely with project sponsors, stakeholders, business units, and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with institutional priorities. The Project Manager facilitates project planning, communication, risk management, and resource coordination while ensuring compliance with established project management methodologies, governance standards, and Agile practices. The Project Manager supports the Information Technology Project Management Office (PMO) by maintaining project documentation, reporting project status, managing risks and issues, and promoting consistent project management practices across the organization. This position does have the opportunity to work remotely occasionally but does require a strong on-campus presence and may require occasional travel to all three FRCC campuses and professional conferences. Duties & Responsibilities: Project Planning, Coordination, Execution and PMO Support • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of assigned technology projects. • Develop project charters, project plans, schedules, resource plans, and communication plans. • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria • Coordinate project activities across technical teams, departments, vendors, and stakeholders. • Ensure project deliverables meet quality expectations and business requirements. • Track project progress and facilitate timely completion of project activities. • Maintain project documentation and project records within approved project management tools. • Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and issues to project sponsors and leadership. • Facilitate project meetings and status reviews • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices. • Support Agile project management practices and continuous improvement initiatives. • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives as appropriate. • Ensure compliance with PMO standards, methodologies, templates, and governance requirements. Risk, Issue, and Resource Management • Identify, assess, document, and manage project risks and issues. • Develop mitigation and contingency plans. • Monitor project dependencies and resource constraints. • Escalate significant project concerns to leadership as appropriate • Assist with project prioritization and resource coordination activities Reporting and Performance Measurement • Update and Maintain project status reports and dashboards. • Monitor project performance metrics and key performance indicators. • Prepare project updates for governance reviews and leadership meetings. • Support portfolio reporting and project analytics activities.
