Do you have experience in UEM?, * Microsoft Azure: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

 * Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD (RBAC, PIM, CA Policies) (Required)
 * Microsoft Defender for Endpoint / Cloud / Identity (Required)
 * Intune - Device Compliance & Endpoint Security (Preferred)
 * Multi-tenant environment management (MSP context) (Preferred)
 * Incident triage & response (Defender XDR) (Preferred)
 * Microsoft SC-300 or AZ-500 certification (Preferred)

## Description

We're looking for a hands-on Microsoft Security Administrator to support our client environments on a part-time, ticket-based basis. This is not a strategic or advisory role - you'll be executing security configurations, responding to incidents, and keeping environments clean and compliant across Azure, Microsoft Defender, and Intune.

Work is asynchronous and volume-driven. Some weeks are light, others will spike. You need to be responsive, self-directed, and able to triage without hand-holding.

What You'll Do

Manage and harden Azure security posture (RBAC, Conditional Access, PIM, Defender for Cloud). Respond to Defender alerts and triage incidents across client tenants. Configure and maintain Intune device compliance policies and endpoint security profiles. Handle onboarding/offboarding tasks including license assignment, MFA enforcement, and access reviews. Document changes and maintain clean audit trails per ticket.

What We Expect

US-based. Available for async work with response SLA under 4 business hours for urgent tickets. Proven hands-on experience - not just certifications. Comfortable managing multiple client tenants simultaneously. Trustworthy with privileged access; background check required.
