Preferred Qualifications * Five (5) or more years of experience managing or coordinating permits within FDOT right-of-way. * Previous experience with FDOT Maintenance, Construction, Design, Traffic Operations, Drainage, or Utilities. * Familiarity with FDOT One Stop Permitting (OSP) and related FDOT permitting databases and systems. * Experience supervising staff or leading multidisciplinary technical teams. * Professional Engineer (PE) license or other relevant professional certifications are desirable but not required. ## Description We are seeking an experienced Permit Manager to join our team and support our client in their Orlando Operations Office. This leadership position is responsible for managing transportation permitting activities, coordinating with clients and external stakeholders, and providing technical guidance to permitting staff. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring permit applications are reviewed efficiently, consistently, and in compliance with FDOT standards while supporting the safe operation and maintenance of Florida's transportation system., The Permit Manager is responsible for overseeing the review, coordination, and issuance of permits affecting the State Highway System. This role manages day-to-day permitting activities, provides technical oversight to permitting staff, coordinates with client offices and external partners, and serves as a primary point of contact for permit-related issues. The position requires strong technical knowledge of FDOT policies and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
