## About the Role

* 8+ years of experience in scenario building, commissioning of systems, and validating solutions in industrial or automation environments.
 * Proficiency in Automation and control systems like PLC, DCS, Edge and IOT platforms, ERP/MES systems
 * Proficiency in relevant programming or scripting languages and communication protocols (like MQTT, OPC UA) relevant for industrial automation
 * Experienced in working within Lean manufacturing principles
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
 * Ability to work in cross-functional, customer-facing teams and adapt solutions to evolving requirements.
 * Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or 10+ years of professional experience in related field.
 * Experience with forward deployment engineering: embedding with customer teams, rapid prototyping, field validation, and iterative improvement.
 * Knowledge of test automation, compliance documentation, and system validation in regulated environments.
 * Willingness to travel during critical deployment phases.
 * Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between core engineering and field deployment, enabling scalable, reliable adoption of new systems
 * Proactively share insights and feedback from deployment experiences with product teams to foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement

* As an Application Engineer at Siemens, you will play a pivotal role in setting up, commissioning, and validating systems in the manufacturing environment.
