We're tackling some of the toughest challenges sales teams face, and there's still so much to build. As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll take end-to-end ownership of critical product features, delivering seamless, high-impact user experiences in close collaboration with Product Managers and Designers. Our current stack includes Node.js, TypeScript, React, Ruby, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Platform, and FreeSWITCH. The Dialer Team The Dialer team owns the core of Orum's platform, powering millions of outbound calls and generating the rich conversation data that drives our product. This is a highly technical, real-time system where milliseconds impact connect rates and outcomes. You'll work on distributed systems for parallel dialing, call routing, and real-time audio built for speed, reliability, and scale, while also helping embed AI-driven intelligence into the dialer to continuously improve connect rates and optimize call strategies. If you enjoy solving complex, high-impact problems at the intersection of systems and AI, this team is at the heart of Orum's innovation. What you'll do * Own core product features, from initial concept and discovery through implementation, deployment, and iterative improvement. * Design and build scalable systems (70% backend, 30% frontend) that power real-time, high-volume workflows - such as routing calls with our event-driven SIP Softswitch or processing audio streams for advanced speech recognition. * Collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, Designers, and Engineers to shape and deliver intuitive, performant experiences. Your input will directly influence the roadmap-we value engineering, product, and design equally. * You are a role model for engineering excellence. Mentor and support teammates by sharing knowledge, offering feedback, and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. * Drive technical excellence by helping define and uphold coding standards that keep our codebase clean, maintainable, and scalable. ## Related Videos - [Meet Your New BFF: Backend to Frontend without the Duct Tape](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/682-meet-your-new-bff-backend-to-frontend-without-the-duct-tape) - [Coffee with Developers: David Heinemeier Hansson](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/875-coffee-with-developers-david-heinemeier-hansson) - [Developing the Backend with Stefan Lingler, CTO at Shpock](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100360-developing-the-backend-with-stefan-lingler-cto-at-shpock) - [Stop using Node.js like in 2020!
